The Secure Nexus: We utilize TherapyNotes, a secure, encrypted, HIPAA-compliant Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. All treatment plans, clinical notes, and billing information are stored within this protected system.
Confidentiality: We do not disclose your Protected Health Information (PHI) to third parties without your written authorization, except as required for treatment, payment, or healthcare operations, or as mandated by law (e.g., duty to warn, suspected abuse).
Your Rights: You have the right to inspect your records, request amendments, and receive an accounting of disclosures as outlined in our formal Notice of Privacy Practices provided during your intake.

Florida Record Retention Standards
In accordance with Florida Statute § 456.057 and Florida Administrative Code Rule 64B4-9.001, the Practice adheres to the following retention schedule:
Adult Clients: Records are maintained for a minimum of seven (7) years following the date of the last service contact.
Minor Clients: Records are maintained for seven (7) years from the date of last service, or until the client reaches the age of 25, whichever period is longer.
Secure Disposal: After the retention period, records are destroyed via secure shredding or permanent digital deletion to maintain confidentiality.

To ensure we can navigate your scheduling needs efficiently, we offer SMS communication under strict privacy guidelines:
Consent: By providing your mobile number and opting in via our intake forms, you consent to receive SMS messages regarding appointment reminders and administrative updates.
